Seminari del percorso d'eccellenza
corso di Laurea in Ingegneria Informatica
Sapienza Università di Roma
a.a. 2009/2010
dell'informatica in diverse realtà produttive.
- Francesco Rogo, Finmeccanica
- DATA E LUOGO: 16 aprile 2010, ore 16, DIS, via Ariosto 25, aula magna
- TITOLO: Software development in Finmeccanica:
Safety Critical Software for aerospace & defense applications
- ABSTRACT:
Finmeccanica is the second European player in the Defence Electronics
market and the sixth worldwide. With its companies, it's active in
avionics, military and secure communications, air traffic control and
management. The group also provides solution for information technology
systems and solutions for automation, security, transport, energy and
space. Finmeccanica is the world leader in the helicopter market,
manufacturing state of the art complete tactical airlifters, combat
aircraft, training aircraft and unmanned air vehicles for both civil and
military applications. More than 73.000 are its employees and a
considerable part are devoted to design, develop and verify software
applications. The seminar will be focused on the most "intriguing" (and
complex) type of software development in Finmeccanica: the safety
critical software, along with its constraints in terms of real-time,
algorithms, architectures, embedding, software engineering methodologies
and safety certification requirements, standards and processes.

DEL SEMINARIO
- Ferdinando Caputo, EMC Computer Systems Italia
- DATA E LUOGO: 23 aprile 2010, ore 15, DIS, via Ariosto 25, aula magna
- TITOLO: Journey to the private cloud
- ABSTRACT:
VMware.
