On
November 12, 2019, between 14:00 and 17:30,
a meeting took place in the Aula Magna of
DIAG, Sapienza University of
Rome, between leading companies in Industrial Vision and interested
students of Sapienza. This was the ninth meeting of a series of events
wandering through italian universities, the first one taking place at
the Sapienza University of Rome. It has been organized by the Progetto
Visione Industria (
https://www.visioneindustria.it),
in collaboration with national associations on Automation and Vision
Systems, and by our DIAG department.
Five companies involved in the development and implementation of vision
systems for automation in industry and beyond have presented their
products, projects and results in different domains of application. An
open discussion with Q&As by the students concluded the session.
PDF versions of all presentation slides (in English) are available
below. You can also download the
leaflet
(in Italian) with the program and the sponsors of the event.
Participation
was free. About 40 students completed a questionnaire, which was
forwarded to the companies.
We thank all the speakers for their kind participation and Mr. Matteo
Jovine from Editoriale Delfino for his organizational support.
