 moted technological transfert in the area of Automation. In 1995\, he serv
 ed as scientific advisor for the Director of the J. R. C. (Joint Research 
 Center of the European Union). From 2000 to 2007\, Member of the Executive
  Council of “ NETTUNO ” - a consortium between italian universities coordi
 nating multimedia and distance learning. From 2001 to 2004 he served as pr
 esident of the Scientific Commeettee of UFI/UIF the “Università italo-fran
 cese”\, an inter gouvernamental institution for coordinating research and 
 didactics. From 2001 to 2013\, president of the council for the degree of 
 System and Control Engineering. From 2012 to 2018\, coordinator of The PhD
  program in Automatica\, Bioengineering and Operation Research and coordin
 ator of the PhD School in Information Technologies. From 2015 to 2019 SM s
 erved as member of the Executive and Strategic Commetteeas of UFI/UIF the 
 “Università italo-francese'. \n\n\nInteressi di ricerca: \n\nHis research 
 activity is in the field of Systems and Control Theory and applied researc
