From November 2002 to October 2006 she has be en research associate at the Institute for Informatics and Telematics of t he Italian National Research Council (IIT CNR)\, Pisa\, and\, from Novembe r 2006 to October 2008\, post-doctoral research fellow and teaching assist ant at the Department of Electrical Systems and Automation\, School of Eng ineering\, University of Pisa (Italy). \n\n\nEDUCATION\n\n\nShe graduated  cum laude in Economics and Business in 1999 at the University of Pisa and she obtained a Diploma degree in Economics cum laude in 1999 at the Sant’A nna School of Advanced Studies\, Pisa. She obtained a Master of Arts in St atistics in 2002 at the Université catholique the Louvain (Belgium)\; and she got her Ph.D. in Economics and Management in 2003 at the Sant’Anna Sch ool of Advanced Studies\, Pisa (Italy). She is external member of the Labo ratory of Economics and Management (LEM) of the Sant’Anna School of Advanc ed Studies and has a stable research collaboration with the ISBA Institute \, Université Catholique de Louvain\, Belgium. \n\n\nRESEARCH INTERESTS AN D PROJECTS\n\nHer research focuses on methodological and empirical studies in productivity and efficiency analysis and performance measurement\; dev elopment of indicators for the quantitative analysis and evaluation of sci ence\, technology higher education and research policy\, data quality and data integration. \n\n \n\nShe has been member of Expert Groups of the Eur opean Commission\, namely “Building Composite Indicator(s) on the European Research Area (ERA) implementation”\, Directorate General for Research an d Innovation (November 2013-October 2014) and of the “Expert Group to supp ort the development of tailor-made impact assessment methodologies for ERA ”\, Directorate General for Research and Innovation (December 2013-October 2014).\n\nShe has been appointed as a member of the Commission of Experts for the Evaluation of the Third Mission Activities (CETM) by the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutio ns (ANVUR) from October 2015 to May 2017.\n\nShe has a consolidated experi ence in international and national research projects\, including PRIME (Po licies for the Research in the Move towards the European Research Area) Ne twork of Excellence\, Aquameth (Advanced Quantitative Methods for the Eval uation of the Performance of Public Sector Research) that she co-coordinat ed\; OEU (Observatory on the European University) and ENID (European Netwo rk of Indicator Designers)\; Changes in University Incomes tender (CHINC)\ ; Innovation Studies (iRiS) Project on “Reorganization of public research’ s technological transfer system: governance\, tools and strategies” and EU MIDA (European Universities Micro Data) Feasibility Study.
