Schedule: Classes are on Thursdays 10:00-14:00
Classes start February 27th, 2025. Class attendance is mandatory. Unless otherwise stated, classes are in Aula magna, Via Ariosto 25.
Typically each meeting will include a research presentation and a reading class (see below).
Students are invited to register through SAI-25. The system will provide material about the topics presented in class and it will be used to send announcements to the class.
Students should register for 1 reading class. For each reading class, where the student registered, he/she should prepare a seminar on a paper assigned by the teacher. Each seminar will last 30 minutes including questions. Each paper will have two or more discussants that are are assigned by the teacher. Discussants are expected to participate in the discussion after the paper presentation, make and answer questions on the paper. Each student will be selected at least twice to be discussant.
Students can register the exam after the successful completion of the seminar and the discussions.
