Spyridon (Spyros) Tarantos received his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in November 2017. Since November 2018, he is PhD candidate at Sapienza University of Rome, attending the automatic control curriculum of the ABRO PhD program. Meanwhile, he is member of the DIAG Robotics Lab.

His research interests lie in the area of: dynamic modeling, motion planning, optimal control and nonlinear model predictive control, applied to mobile manipulators.
