Massimiliano is a third-year PhD student at the Sapienza University of Rome in the Department of Computer, Control, and Management Engineering Antonio Ruberti, in collaboration with Fondazione Bruno Kessler (Trento, Italy) supervised by Prof. Barbara Caputo and Prof. Elisa Ricci. He is a member of the Visual and Multimodal Applied Learning Lab (VANDAL) and the Technologies of Vision Lab (TeV). After receiving a bachelor degree in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering from the University of Perugia in 2014, he received a master degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from the Sapienza University of Rome in 2016, with the maximum grade and excellence mention. The main goal of his work is developing algorithms for increasing the generalization capabilities of deep architectures in computer and robot vision, with a special focus on domain adaptation/generalization and incremental learning.
