Currently, Pasquale Sibilio is a PostDoctoral Researcher at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering (DIAG) of Sapienza University of Rome since November 2022 and Research Associate at Istituto di Analisi dei Sistemi ed Informatica (IASI), National Research Council (CNR) since June 2020. He graduated as a PhD in Innovative Biomedical Tecnologies in Clinical Medicine at Sapienza University of Rome in Febraury 2023 and he was visiting PhD at Channing Network Medicine Division, Brigham and Women's hospital, Boston, MA in Apr-Sept 2022. He graduated a master degree summa cum laude in Genetics and Molecular Biology at Sapienza University of Rome in 2019. During the Master degree he was exchange student at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid through the ERASMUS + 2017/2018 program. He passed the State Exam with the maximum grade to excercise the profession of Biologist in Italy.
In 2021 and 2022 he won the Iniation to research type 1 and type 2, respectively. In 2022 he was was awarded by a Mobility PhD Grant by Sapienza University to spend 6 months at Brigham and Women's Hospital as research fellow. From Nov 2022 he is a member of the internal commettee of Young InfoLife which promotes networking between young bioinformatics researchers in Italy. He was member of the Program Committee of the IEEE BIBM 2023 for Workshop on challenges and opportunities in Network Medicine and Multi-Omics bioinformatics’ approaches for studying human complex diseases'.
He served as reviewer for Scientific Reports and Hidawi editors.
His research interests are mainly in the multi-omics data integration and analysis, single-cell and drug repurposing areas. He works in the fields of bioinformatics, computational biology, and network medicine.
