Biografia
Stefano Battilotti was born in Rome, Italy. In 1992 he joined the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Informatica, Automatica e Gestionale “Antonio Ruberti” (DIAG) of “Sapienza” in Rome (Italy), where since 2005 he is a Professor of Automatic Control.
He has authored (and coathored) more than 150 papers on top-cited archival journals (IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, IEEE Transactions on Network Systems, Automatica, Systems and Control Letters, International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control) and refereed conferences (IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, IFAC Triennial World Conference, European Control Conference) and one monograph (Noninteracting control with stability for nonlinear systems, Lectures Notes in Control and Information Science, Springer Verlag).
He has served in IFAC Technical Committees and as a reviewer for the top archival journals in the field.
Interessi di ricerca
His research interests are focused on observer and control design methods for various types of (differential continuous-time or discrete-time) nonlinear systems (ordinary, delay and stochastic) and, more recently, on distributed filtering and control over networks.
